APECA mobilizes people and resources in the fight against sexual exploitation and abuse.
Our vision: A world that protects children and adults from exploitation and abuse and values everyone. APECA offers the following free services:
Community awareness training, workshops, and informational tables at schools, organizations, special events, etc. to promote awareness on all aspects of sexual exploitation, abuse and self-injury.
Support activities for teens who are at-risk or recovering from self-injury and abuse
Life skills workshops for children and teens
APECA's eight-bed home in Arizona can offer a safe haven for girls (ages 11 to 17) recovering from sexual exploitation and abuse. Girls at Natalie's House receive shelter, food and clothing. An intensive recovery program is offered which includes outings and educational strategies to assist them in making the transition to a normal, healthy life.
